Early life

Sergio Madera would go for late night runs at the age of 15 in high-end neighborhoods searching for his dream home gazing at the cars in their driveway.

Despite his young age, Sergio opted into every business opportunity he could find, simply to learn the art of sales and generate income.

In highschool, Sergio began to sell mexican snacks and quickly became the #1 supplier of Tostilocos selling over 15,000 bags to his school and neighborhood.

He continued in sales and ventured into higher ticket items. He worked his way from selling chips, to Italian dress up loafers, restored salvage vehicles and finally real estate.

CAREER

In 2014 Sergio had his first real estate success when he bought his first 3 unit apartment complex at 23 years old. This property taught him

Three years later Sergio transacted $11,000,000 worth of real estate. This included multiple 2-4 unit properties and his largest at the time a 7 unit apartment complex. His business model was to purchase the property, renovate the interiors and exterior, and sell at a premium price. This launched Sergio into the world of Multifamily Investing, where he quickly became one of the youngest apartment operators in San Diego. He’d made his first million dollars in this business.

Sergio learned the fundamentals of real estate investing and built his own construction and management company. He transcended into a new level of success when he took the chance and left everything to purchase larger assets and more volume in Phoenix Arizona. He reached top ranking status as an apartment investing company and transacted over 1,100 units in just 5 years.

Currently, Sergio owns $100,000,000 worth of multifamily real estate and he created Urbana Capital in 2021 to invest side by side with high level entrepreneurs with one common goal, passive income and long-term wealth.

GIVING BACK

Sergio’s mission with real estate extends out to non profit organizations like Helping With All My Heart where every year he makes a donation to a shelter and transportation facility for immigrant families that seek asylum from other countries. He is also working on purchasing a property with Health and Harmony, a nonprofit organization that houses families recovering from homelessness and addiction.

PERSONAL LIFE

Sergio is a family man, married to the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Jackie Madera. Together they have 3 boys and live in Scottsdale, Arizona.
